We moved to France in September 2019 from the South East of England. We have previously owned a holiday home in the North Dordogne for 11 years so spent a lot of time in France before moving here permanently. 

 

We chose this particular area because of the climate, the stunning scenery, the peace and tranquility and easy access to lively villages and towns. 

 

Both previously secondary school teachers, we decided to retire early to France to gain a better work-life balance. As well as running our gite we both still teach an A Level to Chinese students online.

Our spare time is spent walking our young dog Willow and improving our property. We also enjoy the many special things that living in this stunning part of France offers - the long, leisurely lunches, the lovely  evenings at the marche gourmands and the many places of interest in the local area.
