Roquecor and its surroundings

Roquecor is a small village in the Tarn et Garonne built overlooking a beautiful valley. It is situated close to the borders of the Lot and the Lot et Garonne, and is ideally placed as a base for visiting the area.

The village of Roquecor, has a array of amenities for a small village including restaurants, bars, shops, tennis and petanque courts. There is a small weekly market on Sunday mornings and the popular gourmet night markets take place in July and August. Throughout the year there are various events for locals and visitors.

Montaigu de Quercy is less than 10 minutes drive away and has a large range of amenities including a beach resort park, several restaurants, a supermarket, bank and pharmacy.

The Good Life

Whether you want to sit by the pool and relax or explore the local area you will not be bored. The region is famous for a lot of different wine and food including: duck, prunes and walnuts, which can be tasted and bought at one of the many popular markets and fabulous restaurants in the area.

There are plenty of vineyards and wine tours close by, and many different towns and villages such as Montcuq, Lauzerte and Penne d'Agenais to explore.

If you want to be by the water, then the rivers Lot, Garonne and Tarn are all close by, and its possible to take a picnic and go kayaking, swimming or hire a boat.

For bigger cities there are several within easy reach - Agen, Cahors, Bergerac, Montauban, Toulouse or Bordeaux.
